Dr. Garcia studied at the University of Guadalajara, MX and received his M.D. in 1983. In 1984 Dr. Garcia continued with his Internal Medicine Specialty training and received his Board Certification in 1987 from the National Medical Center (IMSS) in Mexico City.
In 1985 Dr. Garcia was nominated for Humanitarian of the Year and in 1996 was nominated again and received the award.
In 2006 Dr. Garcia received the Lifetime Achievement award for the community of Chapala.
Dr. Garcia is a certified Speaker/Professor at Internal Medicine conventions and also trains other physicians in procedures.
